"October Best"is a scenic overview of Hammondsport, NY. The historic Mallory Mill with it's magnificent stonework stands to the left. Walk down the street to the square, Keuka Lake is just beyond.
"Slo September" is a memory inspired painting from
the Keuka Yatcht
Club on West
Lake Road.
On a warm sunny day in September, a lone sailboat
waits at the dock.
Sunlight on the
water glinting
on the gentle waves.
"Summer Solstice" -
The sun is setting
over Hammondsport
on the longest day
of the year.
"Reflections on Keuka" - We are at the foot of the lake at Champlin Beach looking north. The moon is out and a storm is moving off in the distance. Spreader lights on the moored sailboat, and just beyond the boathouse a motorboat is coming into dock.
"Keuka-The Charm of the Finger Lakes" Capturing the charm of the Finger Lakes, we are on East Lake Road looking west toward the Gold Seal WInery, Heron Hill and the cottages on the east side.
An annual event artist's are sponsored by local businesses that display the oversized paintings at their place of business. The palettes are auctioned in the square at the conclusion of the event in early September.
